Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor from America. Her most well-known character was that of Skyler on AMC's drama Breaking Bad. She won Primetime Emmy Awards to recognize Outstanding supporting Performance on a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. She also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. The actress was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with acting in Preparatory School before her family moved to Ohio during the latter part of 1970. She attended theatre classes in the theatre department at Northwestern University and spent a semester studying at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was a part of a couple of seasons in Chicago the theatre before moving to TV and film roles. Anna was selected to portray Arden on Down the Shore in the 29-episode series Down the Shore. Anna continued to appear in movies and TV series such as Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others until late 1990's. She was then placed in The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood in two full seasons. In 2008 she was cast in the role of Skyler as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully was one of her characters. Gunn has also appeared on the stage for David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. She also appeared in the audio drama podcast series of four parts called Numbered Days, which was launched in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The strains and eventual ending mirrors the last decades that were the life of Walter White.
